About DJ Mondo

Art, music and vids from an average cyborg from the future, lost in the wilderness of the early 21st century.

DJ Mondo contemplates what lies below during the Lunch Rush.

I’ve noticed humans watch the sky a lot.

Traditionally, a lot of good things come from the sky. Gods. Angels. Benevolent aliens.

Humans don’t seem to consider much the opposite of those things that are traditionally thought to come from underground.

You feel that shaking? Maybe it was that truck that just passed. Maybe not.

Check out this tune.

DJ Mondo accepts Pope’s tacit approval of everything he says and does.

To my surprise and great pleasure, I caught Pope Francis giving me the holy ‘thumbs up’ from a bookstore window on Michigan Avenue today.

Since the cardboard cutout is licensed by the Catholic Church, it undoubtedly represents the Holy Father’s approval of everything that passes by that section of street. I’m not sure if the Pontiff heard my tunes Scorched, The Pious DJ or Vulcan Sex Pinch, but I’ll accept his “Keep up the good work, Mondo.” with all the grace and humility that a secular cyborg DJ from the future can muster.

You’re welcome, Vatican.

DJ Mondo – Skull Island Sessions: The Technical Problem of Peace

Humans tend to think of peace as a state dependent on personal or collective temperament or morality.

While that is true, contributing factors to global peace also include accessibility, cessation of want or scarcity and balanced commerce.

Once these technical issues are overcome, the remaining issues of morality or temperament become clear.
