The Gemini PMX 20 mixer is finally midi mapped to an Ableton 11 template! Triggering loops, applying EQ and effects will be an absolute summer breeze with this set up. Making it a real dynamic performance tool.
After solving the clip/scene launching issue, the next problem was applying effects to a single track without affecting the others. That’s where Ableton’s send and return tracks come in. Apply the effect to the return track. Map the track’s send control and the effect’s dry/wet control to a single knob and you’re in business!
Im loving the Gemini PMX-20 more every day! The fact that it forced me to dive deeper into Ableton Live and Traktor is a bonus.
